I LOVE this bridle! I use it for all types of horses. From horses who need retraining for bolting, bucking, bit trauma, young colts in training or seasoned horses. I've used this bitless for all kinds of gaited horses, quarter horses, draft, etc....
It's VERY versitile, too! It uses the same pressure as a snaffle bit for direct reining (on the outside of the mouth) only, this bitless gently hugs half the horse's head for even better communication.
It also works as a hackamore with gentle nose pressure. You can use it like a curb bit, too...and ask the horse to yield to poll pressure as well. It also doubles as a halter!
So far, I have not found a horse that didn't prefer this bitless over a conventional bit.
My personal favorite is the Beta. At $89 you can't beat the price and the quality.
(be aware that it can take a few rides to get your horse used to the different feel. Once your horse gets comfortable, he'll settle down and relax.
